ARPOK is a non-governmental organization founded by the Palacký University in Olomouc 13th September 2004.
The mission of the organization is to provide Global Development Education and to raise awareness about development issues among pupils, teachers and the general public thereby contributing to the development of civil society in the Czech Republic and abroad. People in this society take interest and are actively involved in the events around them, understand contexts, critically assess information, are aware of various options and act accordingly.
ARPOK is a member of the Czech Forum for Development Cooperation (FoRS), the Union of Non-governmental Organizations of the Olomouc Region and the Association of Public Benefit Organizations.
