Call for Mentors for Student Campaigns 2026!

Would you like to support young people in developing and implementing their own actions and campaigns focused on global challenges? ARPOK is looking for experienced mentors who can provide guidance and support to student groups in creating their campaigns.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Individuals with experience working with children and young people.
  • People with experience in organizing campaigns, awareness-raising activities, or student projects.
  • Professionals from relevant fields who can support students in campaign implementation, for example: PR and communication (to increase campaign reach), coaching (to support teamwork), and other relevant areas.
        • Mentors who can bring a global perspective (e.g. come from the Global South and/or Indigenous communities, or with work experience in these contexts).
        • Individuals aged 18+ who can actively communicate in Czech or English.

        People who meet some of the above criteria and are willing to share their time and experience to support young people interested in global issues.

        WHAT YOU WILL DO

        • Participate in an online information session for campaign organizers in mid-October 2026 (likely October 13, 2026).
        • Provide feedback on campaign proposals to at least two student groups.
        • Be available to at least two student groups (based on your expertise) for consultation via email or online calls during October–December 2026.

        WHAT WE OFFER 

        • Fee of EUR 400 for your involvement (including participation in the online session, feedback, and mentoring support).
        • Certificate of participation (suitable for students).
        • Promotion on the project’s website and social media.
        • Flexible participation—activities take place online.
        • An open and collaborative environment with the opportunity to share your experience and contribute to the development of active citizenship among students.

        SELECTION PROCESS*

        Step 1 – Submit a short application. Deadline: May 11, 2026.
        Step 2 – Short online interview (15 minutes) during the week of May 11–15, 2026.
        Step 3 – Selection of 4–5 mentors by May 20, 2026.

        We aim to build a diverse team of mentors with a range of experiences and expertise to best support student groups. We also encourage applications from students who have organized (or are organizing) campaigns themselves, as well as individuals from the Global South who can contribute a global perspective.

        About the student campaigns/actions

        Groups of young people aged 13–20 prepare public campaigns or events addressing global challenges in a local context.
        The aim is to raise awareness of important global issues and seek solutions relevant to the communities where young people live. The campaigns should also include a global perspective and engage the public.

        Global topics include, for example, climate change, global inequalities, migration, and gender equality.
